Courter: Things I wish

Editor’s note:

Barry Courter has a 26-year-old son who is a college graduate and a 21-year-old daughter who is a college senior. Each week he poses a question he wishes they would ask.

Q: Dad, what are your big regrets in life?

A: Missed opportunities. Or, more specifically, not trying something like hang-gliding or riding in a hot-air balloon when I had the chance. I’m talking big things like seeing a concert by someone I really like that was maybe out of town because it seemed inconvenient at the time. But I also regret not taking better advantage of the outdoor opportunities we have here. Take a risk and try new stuff.
