The Casual Pint craft beer franchise plans to open a new location in Hixson next year.
It will be the chain’s second store in Hamilton County. The first opened in North Chattanooga last year.
The new store operated by Dan and Judy Kearnaghan will be the brand’s 14th location nationwide, according to a company announcement. It’s scheduled to open during the second quarter of 2016.
“The Hixson community has needed something unique to keep people in the city, rather than driving twenty or thirty minutes to Chattanooga,” Judy Kearnaghan said in a statement.
The Casual Pint offers more than 400 in-house beer varieties.
