The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga used a dominant second-half defensive effort to pull away from UNC Wilmington on Saturday in the Seahawk Classic in Wilmington, N.C.

The Mocs (8-4) finished off a four-game week with their third consecutive win and will be off until a game at Stanford on Dec. 28. They limited the Seahawks to 23 percent shooting on the afternoon and turned 14 turnovers into 17 points.
UTC took control in the third quarter, outscoring UNCW 19-2. The Seahawks were 7-for-36 from the field in the final 20 minutes, while the Mocs were 13-of-29.
