Ivan and Sandra Chambers of Signal Mountain (at their wedding in 1965, top, and now) are celebrating their 50th anniversary Wednesday. Both also are celebrating their 70th birthdays, Ivan on Nov. 16 and Sandra on Jan. 14. Ivan is a retired engineer and Sandra is a retired retail sales manager. They have two children, Kara Lynn Chambers (1967-1981) and Jennifer Chambers Smith, and two granddaughters, Charlotte Smith, 15, and Colette Smith, 11.
