Crowd goes to ‘Home for the Holidays’

James Rogers plays patriotic tunes on his acoustic guitar onstage at The Colonnade. The first half of Rogers' concert was a patriotic tribute to veterans. The second half, he serenaded the crowd with Christmas songs. "Christmas is about a miracle that brought love, hope and joy to the world," said Rogers.

After performing at Dollywood for decades, singer/songwriter James Rogers now hosts a holiday concert at The Colonnade.

“It all started with me and a guitar listening to the crickets,” said Rogers, who now lives in Rock Spring, while speaking to the packed crowd that attended this year’s show. “I love doing this show. I look forward to it. I thought this would be a good chance to get everyone together. Sharing your heart and feelings with others is what makes it complete. Thank you for 42 years [of music and entertainment]. Thank you for supporting me and sharing your time with me.”
