Protesters showed pettiness publicly

The self-imposed mental prisoners of fear and infantilism raised their banners of protest at the Windstone subdivision on Ooltewah-Ringgold Road a couple of days before Christmas.

Upset that their brand of regressive religious fundamentalism has been rejected, this well-dressed, upper middle-class group decided to turn their inward fear and religious idolatry into a public display of pettiness.

Unable or unwilling to understand metaphors in religious texts, they demand everyone accede to their narrow, backward retreat into darkness.

However, I’m glad they protest. Their Luddite demonstrations against “Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Humanity” reinforce the wisdom of separation of church and state and the continuing need to keep an eye on religious fascism of all flavors.
