Cascades MotelA body found at a motel in East Ridge this morning was shot to death, East Ridge police say. The case has been confirmed as a homicide investigation.
Housekeepers found 21-year-old Reginald Ballard of Chattanooga dead in a room at Cascades Motel around 8:30 a.m.
The man, who was a guest, was found in the floor of one of the rooms, police said.
The shooting is believed to have occurred between 10 p.m. Feb. 19 and 8 a.m. this morning.
