Chattanooga police have released new details about a 13-year-old boy who has been missing since Monday.
Police say Cameron Shepherd is a “repeat offender of running away,” and do not believe he is in any danger.
A locator poster issued by the Chattanooga Police Department immediately following his disappearance said Shepherd “may have had help in leaving.”
He was last seen in Chattanooga on Feb. 16. He is a white male who is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, an old gray jacket and gray tennis shoes, according to the poster.
Police said they do not have permission from the court system to release any additional information beyond the locator poster. Anyone with information regarding Cameron’s whereabouts should call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
