Trout fishing at Lake Junior in Chattanooga begins again this Friday.
Stocking trucks stopped by the deep little body of water at the convergence of Highway 153 and Amnicola Highway on Tuesday, and the Tennessee Valley Authority will allow fishing there from daylight to daylight on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays into April.
“We put 3,000 9-10-inch fish in there,” Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Region III fisheries biologist Will Collier confirmed Wednesday.
Those came from the Dale Hollow national hatchery.
“Then that afternoon from our Tellico state hatchery, we put in 25 brood fish weighing two to four pounds,” Collier added.
