Debbie Hunt of Port Angeles, Wash., is one of the first to pen a message of condolence on a banner that will be sent to the city of Chattanooga offering sympathy after the shooting deaths of five military service members. The banner will made available for additional messages at Port Angeles City Hall through Friday.
When tragedy struck 2,600 miles from her Port Angeles, Wash., home, Leslie Robertson wanted to help.
Robertson, founder of Revitalize Port Angeles, saw several posts from people on her Facebook group saying they wanted to do something nice for Chattanooga after a shooter killed four Marines and a naval officer last week.
