Power outage tileEPB reported that as of 5:30 p.m. there were 200 to 500 customers in the Ooltewah/Collegedale area without power. There were also reports of 100-200 outages in the Harrison/Highway 58 area.
In total, about 1,100 customers total experienced outages. EPB reported that its automation prevented another 1,200 customers from experiencing an outage.
As of 6 p.m., EPB was working to restore about 700 customers who were still without power.
