By now you’ve probably noticed – at least we hope you have – that this section is now called Faith & Family instead of Life. It’s a conscious effort on our part to expand our coverage of faith, a subject that’s extremely important to a large number of people in our community.
Each week we will feature a local faith story on the front of the section plus our new Voices of Faith column in which local religious and spiritual leaders will offer their thoughts, a different person every week. Terry Mattingly, a nationally renowned religion writer, also will have a weekly column in the section.
If you have an idea for a faith story or if you would like to be part of the Voices of Faith column, contact Features Editor Shawn Ryan at sryan@timesfreepress.com or at 423-757-6327.
