Officials with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in Winchester, Tenn., say Shelbyville resident Mark A. Dye died accidentally in some kind of incident on Tims Ford Lake over the weekend.
Dye was found Sunday afternoon floating in waters adjacent to the Bell Acres Subdivision, Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Chris Guess said in a release.
Authorities believe the death was accidental, but an investigation is continuing, Guess said.
“No criminal charges are anticipated at this time,” Guess said.
