Chattanooga police responded today to a report of an individual suffering from a gunshot wound who arrived at a local hospital.
After further examination it was determined that the injuries sustained were the result of a stabbing and not from a firearm.

A man was shot at 1701 Dodson Ave. about 1:50 this afternoon, according to Chattanooga police.
The victim arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. It is unknown if the victim’s injuries are life threatening.
Investigators are processing the scene.
