ATLANTA — Forecasters are expecting isolated thunderstorms in northwest and central Georgia.

The National Weather Service says storms could develop Saturday afternoon but aren’t expected to be severe. Forecasters say the weather system could produce wind gusts of up to 30 mph and are expected to diminish in the evening.

Forecasters say another round of storms is expected to move into northwest Georgia after midnight. Officials say the second set of storms is expected to impact a region north of a line stretching from LaGrange to Atlanta and Cleveland.
