A couple found dead inside a West Knoxville home - one in an upstairs bathroom and one in a garage - apparently died due to natural causes, police said.
A family member discovered the bodies Tuesday at 6615 Nightingale Lane around 4:06 p.m., Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk said. He described the couple, whose names have not been released, as "boyfriend and girlfriend."
Investigators found no signs of forced entry or trauma to the bodies, DeBusk said. He would not speculate on how long the couple had been dead, although he said the man appeared to have been dead longer.
