Travis Lytle Jr.Lytle earns Eagle Scout rank
Travis L. Lytle Jr. became the 34th member of Troop 43 to achieve Eagle Scout rank during a Court of Honor held at Olivet Baptist Church.
The Eagle Scout is a graduate of Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences, where he was a member of the Student Government Association, concert and show choirs, on the yearbook staff and sang with the Chattanooga Boys Choir. He is now a sophomore at Middle Tennessee State University, majoring in computer information systems.
He is the son of Tonya and Travis Lytle Sr. and a member of Olivet Baptist Church.
For the community service project required of all Eagle Scouts, he designed and built, with help from Troop 43 members, a 30-by-24-foot concrete pad for a basketball court at CSAS to replace a dirt-and-rock play area. He also painted the new court with four squares to add a game for younger students to play.
