Q: How come I know so little about your grandparents?
A: That’s a do-over item on my wish list. I wish I had “interviewed” them on video or cassette tape and recorded their answers to basic questions about their own pasts. The same goes for your grandparents. We can’t go back and retrieve those stories and histories.
