MABLETON, Ga. — Police say the man accused of killing a 23-year-old Cobb County father took the victim’s iPhone and cash before shooting him.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports 23-year-old Darius Jarrell Dunn was arrested Saturday. Court records show he’s charged with murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery
Dunn is accused of killing Anthony Terrell Tavarez on Wednesday at an Austell apartment complex.
Dunn was being held without bond Monday at the Cobb County jail. It was not immediately clear whether he had a defense attorney.
Family members said the victim, Tavarez, was the father of a 1-year-old child. His girlfriend is pregnant with a second child.
