Fall is here — and so is pumpkin flavoring in just about everything

Do you find yourself standing in line day after day at Starbucks, waiting to order a Pumpkin Spice Latte?

You’re not the only one. The latte, introduced in 2003, is the company’s most popular seasonal menu item in its history, reports money.cnn.com.

Though the insanely popular pumpkin-infused coffee drink may have catapulted the flavor of pumpkin spice to the forefront of favorite flavors of fall, there are other tasty seasonal pumpkin-flavored products in restaurants and grocery stores this time of year.

New Belgium Pumpkick Ale, a seasonal beer brewed with pumpkin juice, spices and other flavors, and Pumpkin Noosa yogurt, for example, are but a couple of the pumpkin-infused seasonal products currently available in stores.

But local breweries such as Chattanooga Brewing Co., Terminal Brewhouse, Big River Grille & Brewing Works and Moccassin Bend Brewery aren’t jumping on the pumpkin wagon, although most offer some kind of fall brew.
