Facebook went down for the second time in a week on Monday, leaving many users disconnected from their friends, family and coworkers.
According to DownDetector.com, reported problems at the social networking service spiked around 3 p.m. and continued until just before 4 p.m., when the service slowly started to come back to life.
The #facebookdown hashtag began trending on Twitter, which quickly filled with screenshots of Facebook’s familiar error page.
Though some criticized Facebook for its second crash since it went down on Thursday, others made light of the situation.
“#FacebookDown, Productivity Up,” tweeted Austin Braun.
