Lookouts recap box

Monday’s recap: Chattanooga’s first-game victory was the completion of Sunday’s suspended game. A four-run third inning and a three-run seventh sparked the Lookouts. Mitch Garver’s three-run home run capped the first of those rallies. Travis Harrison doubled in the first two seventh-inning runs and scored the other on a throwing error on Leonardo Reginatto’s single. Winning pitcher Omar Bencomo (3-6) pitched four innings and allowed five hits and two walks. He gave up one run and had two strikeouts. Chattanooga leadoff batter Zach Granite went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases, giving him 38 for the season. In the second game, shortened to seven innings, Mobile scored a run in each of the first two and held on behind pitchers Taylor Clarke (nine strikeouts in five innings), Zac Curtis and Matt Stites.
