The Valspar Corporation, one of the world’s leading coatings manufacturers, has selected Chattanooga-based Kenco Logistics to provide warehouse, production and IT services at two of its U.S. locations.
Kenco will help support and manage a 400,000-square-foot coatings facility in Romeoville, Ill., and a 72,000-square-foot furniture-care facility in Grand Rapids, Mich.
In addition to its nationwide distribution capabilities, Kenco was picked because of its supply chain intelligence system, UNIFY, which delivers critical shipment visibility in the form of reports, analysis views, and dashboards.
