The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team announced on Tuesday that they will play the University of Tennessee on Sept. 14, 2019 at Neyland Stadium.
The Mocs last played the Vols on Oct. 11, 2014, losing 45-10. Tennessee leads the series 36-2-2, with the Mocs getting wins in 1905 in Chattanooga and 1958 in Knoxville.
Tennessee joins Alabama (2016), LSU (2017) and Kentucky (2018) as future SEC opponents for the Mocs. UTC also has a 2020 game scheduled against Football Bowl Subdivision opponent Western Kentucky.
In addition, non-conference games against Jacksonville State (away in both 2017 and 2019), Tennessee-Martin (at home in 2017, on the road in 2018) and a 2018 home game against Tennessee Tech were announced.
