Owner: While Right at Home is a national franchise, Ryan Naegele and Bryan Hensley are the owners of the local office that serves Hamilton County.

Year opened: July 2016

Location: 5138 Preschool Lane, Suite 106, in Hixson

Company’s goals: Right at Home is a home-care service, working with seniors and families to provide individuals with enough care to stay in their home, assisted/independent living facility or nursing home. This includes non-physical assistance like meal preparation, grocery shopping and transportation and physical assistance like helping clients get dressed and move around the house.

Good to know: Both Naegele and Hensley had experience in the service industry before opening Right at Home. “I’ve dealt personally with care experiences with family in the last 10 to 15 years, and I saw this as a great way to serve others,” Naegele said.

Quality expectations: Naegele said both he and Hensley are dedicated to providing the best possible care. Every staff member of Right at Home is a paid employee, meaning no contractors. Furthermore, Naegele said nearly every employee has at least five years of caregiving experience, either in in-home care, hospice or otherwise.

A good match: Right at Home strives to match credentials, personality and interests when pairing a caregiver with a client. For example, if someone in need of care has Alzheimer’s, his or her caregiver would be someone who has experience with patients with the disease.

Hours: Right at Home provides care 24/7, and thus someone is available at all hours of the day to provide assistance immediately, if need be. “If someone needs service, we can provide it that day if necessary,” said Naegele.
