Peyton Manning will announce his retirement later this week, according to long-time Denver Post columnist Woody Paige.
Manning and Paige both attended the University of Tennessee.
Manning won Super Bowl 50 earlier this month with the Denver Broncos.
Patrick Smyth, the Denver Broncos’ vice president of public relations, refuted the claim, tweeting Manning will talk to the team later this week and has yet to make a decision.
