Scouting report

In head coach Duggar Baucom’s first season, the Bulldogs lead the nation in scoring at 93.1 points per game. They are the nation’s fastest team, averaging 82.5 possessions per game and taking a shot once every 14.2 seconds, and have topped 80 points on 10 occasions and 100 twice. Henry is a graduate transfer from Winthrop who is the only player in the SoCon to score 30 points multiple times this season, while Boutte leads the conference in assists.

Key matchup

The Bulldogs don’t want to play defense – not for long, at least. They want to get steals and convert those into points and create as many possessions as possible for their offense. If there is a game in which the Mocs absolutely must control the ball and limit their turnovers, it will be today’s, because The Citadel will feed off of turnovers and their ability to convert.
