Courter: Things I wish my kids would ask me

Editor’s note: Barry Courter has a 26-year-old son who is a college graduate and a 22-year-old daughter who is a college senior. Each week he poses a question he wishes they would ask.

Q: Dad, was it weird for you to see old friends during the holidays when you were in college?

A: Not sure “weird” is the right word, but one of the hardest things to convince people now in high school is that all the drama you are now experiencing pretty much all goes away in college. You get to hit the reset button and start over. And it only gets better as you get older.
