A new restaurant is opening in downtown Chattanooga near Warehouse Row.

2 Sons Kitchen & Market is expected to open at 1120 Houston St. in the Fleetwood Building. The restaurant is named after chef Nathan Flynt’s family.

2 Sons will specialize in locally sourced ingredients, with menu items made fresh-to-order, according to a news release. It will be open for breakfast and lunch, offering dine-in, to-go and home-meal replacement offerings. The restaurant will also host themed dinners, and be available for private parties and events, the release said.

Flynt previously worked in food-truck cuisine with Famous Nater’s, which specializes in gourmet sandwiches and salads.

“I’ve always planned to evolve from the food truck to a restaurant,” he said in the release. “Of course, we’ll have all the delicious favorites that our customers love, along with creative new offerings for them to try.”

The restaurant says it will create 10 to 12 jobs. Those interested should apply on the restaurant’s website.

An opening date has not yet been announced.
