Paul Murray, vice president of sustainability and environmental affairs at Dalton-based Shaw Industries, has been named a finalist for a global sustainability award, according to Shaw officials.
Murray is a finalist for The Circulars, a global sustainability awards program. He is recognized in the People’s Choice Award category, which celebrates individuals, public sector programs and organizations that have the most inspiring circular economy stories, according to a news release.
Murray has 30 years’ worth of experience in sustainability studies, according to Shaw officials.
The Circulars awards will be presented during a ceremony at the World Economics Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland this month.
