Two DeKalb County, Ala., have been arrested on drug charges after a multi-agency raid on a home in Sylvania, Ala., according to Sheriff Jimmy Harris.
He said agents from the DeKalb County Drug and Major Crimes Task Force, Sylvania Police Department, ATF and DEA went to a home on County Road 407 Friday to execute a search warrant.
They found marijuana growing at the house and a stash of methamphetamine, Harris said in a news release.
Shane Freeman, 46, was charged with possession and trafficking in drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of a firearm.
Chester L. Buttram, 43, was charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
Harris said the arrests came after a months-long investigation by the drug task force.
