Chattanooga restaurants Main Street Meats, 217 E. Main St., and Easy Bistro, 203 Broad St., are participating in national Negroni Week, a weeklong cocktail celebration to raise funds for charity. Chef Erik Niel and bar manager Alex Jump have produced creative riffs on classic Negroni, and the featured cocktails will be different at each restaurant. Niel has chosen the Chattanooga Area Food Bank as the restaurants' charity. Proceeds are derived from sales of the cocktails. ADVENTURE CANOE SERIES – Outdoor Chattanooga, 200 River St. Series of five canoe trips on sections of South Chickamauga Creek, 9 a.m.-noon five Saturdays, June-August. Children must be accompanied by two adults in a canoe. Children ages 13 and up must be able to assist with carrying and navigating canoe. $20 adults, $10 children ages 8-12, includes equipment and shuttle to and from launch point.
