The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team will play in the Naismith Memorial Women's Challenge this fall.

The Mocs, who finished 25-8 last season, are one of eight teams in the event, which starts with a three-game round robin Nov. 19-21 in Louisville, Ky. They will play another game Nov. 27 against Maine at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass.

UTC will play Lafayette College on the 19th, Bowling Green State on the 20th and Louisville on the 21st. Louisville won 26 games last season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

"This provides a great opportunity to play a cross section of teams who could not or would not ordinarily schedule with us," UTC coach Jim Foster said in a Thursday release. "We appreciate the Hall of Fame providing this opportunity for our team to get four great games."

South Carolina will serve as the host for the other campus round-robin site, Nov. 20-22. Joining the Gamecocks will be Hampton, St. Peter's and Maine.

The Mocs' entire 2016-17 schedule will be announced later.
