Norman Davis, one of this month’s featured artists at River Gallery, 400 E. Second St., will give a free live portrait demonstration, using a live model, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12.
In his artist statement, Davis says he feels his strength as an artist is the ability to capture both the likeness and spirit of a person in his works.
He also specializes in drawings of animals and aircraft.
