Free tickets to the SonRise Resurrection Pageant, a collaboration between Southern Adventist University and Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists, will be distributed Monday evening, March 14, at Hamilton Place, 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd.
The pageant will take place in half-hour intervals from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26, the day before Easter.
Begun in 1996, the annual event portrays Christ’s last days in six interactive scenes from the Bible, using 500 costumed cast members, live animals and dramatic sets.
The one-mile walk-through is handicap accessible.
Tickets will be available at 6 p.m. near J. Crew on the mall’s lower level.
Typically, all 7,000 tickets are given away within 90 minutes.
There is a limit of seven per family, and the person picking up the tickets must be at least 16 years old.
Tickets are not required for children 6 and younger.
The ticket information line is 423-954-2220.
