The Roueche Chorale and Orchestra will present its annual Lenten cantata, “Colors of Grace,” on Tuesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. in Brainerd Baptist Church, 300 Brookfield Ave.

The cantata focuses on the time period between Thursday evening of Holy Week through the Crucifixion. It is centered on Jesus’ lessons to the disciples on service, obedience, humility and forgiveness, which the choir represents through song, drama, symbolism and colors.

The anthem “Take My Yoke Upon You” is interwoven through the anthems, representing each of the lessons, such as “A Servant’s Song,” “A Shadow Fell on Sharon’s Rose” and “O Gentle Jesus.” Other music included in the cantata is “Come to the Cross,” “Coming Home,” “Jesus Paid It All” and “Prayer at the Cross.”

George Taylor will narrate the program. The choir is composed of 60 experienced singers from around the Chattanooga area.

Although the program is free, donations will be accepted to benefit the chorale. For more information, check the group’s website at www.therouechechorale.org.
