Nick Wilkinson, deputy administrator of Chattanooga’s department of economic development, announced today that he will run as a Democratic candidate for the state’s 10th District senate seat, challenging Republican incumbent Todd Gardenhire.
“Building a good campaign is like building a good startup,” said Wilkinson, citing the passionate people who have been drawn to his group of supporters.
Representing the 10th District Is just part of his overall mission of seeking to improve the Chattanooga area, said Wilkinson.
