A signature Chattanooga building that has served as corporate headquarters for a pair of key local companies is on the market.
One Park Place at 6148 Lee Highway, next to the Sports Barn East, is for sale for $5.5 million, according to real estate firm Henry B. Glascock Co. and John Dixon & Associates.
The building, located in an office park-type setting, is headquarters for ERMC. Started by Chattanooga businessman Emerson Russell, the company offers a variety of services including security and janitorial and facility maintenance to a range of markets.
Prior to that, Chattanooga-based shopping center owner and operator CBL & Associates Properties Inc. called the building its home office before raising a new headquarters near its flagship Hamilton Place mall.
The multi-level structure has easy access to both Interstate-75 and Highway 153 and is close to Hamilton Place. The building also has a signalized entrance to Lee Highway.
The property is a “secure access buildingwith strongly controlled security system,” according to the real estate company.
