– History: Jack’s Family Restaurants was founded in 1960 by Jack Caddell as a walk-up burger stand in Homewood, Ala. The privately owned company is headquartered in Birmingham.
– Scope: This will be the company’s 136th location – five in Tennessee. Jack’s is a fast-food restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items, including made-from-scratch biscuits and never-frozen chicken with sides.
– Menu: Jack’s Family Restaurants offers a variety of hamburgers, chicken, salad and breakfast entrees and competes in the restaurant segment alongside KFC, Bojangles’, Chick-fil-A, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Zaxby’s.
– Staff: The Chattanooga restaurant will employ about 50 employees and five managers. The store is currently hiring.
– Hours of operation: Around 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. with extended summer and fall hours.
– Schedule: The restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-June.
