Thank you to Chattanooga Parks and Rec

You don’t hear many accolades for our municipal workers.

But today, I want to commend the Parks and Recreation Department of Chattanooga.

Our family spent a beautiful Mother’s Day, along with hundreds of others, at the Riverwalk. We enjoyed its many play areas and other great activities that make Chattanooga a great place to live.

I noticed a lot of mowing had taken place at the sites for picnics, family fun or occasional lounging. I saw dock areas and miles of shoreline maintained that allowed families to paddle board, kayak and fish.
