Visitors to the annual Rhododendron Festival in Mentone, Ala., will find plenty of art and handcrafted wares to draw their attention, but they also can turn their focus to live musical entertainment, a Taste of Mentone, horse-drawn carriage rides and a children’s festival with games, pony rides, a sidewalk chalk art contest and a cow train.
And, of course, there are the festival’s signature plants providing the beautiful scenery.
Events are scheduled Friday night, May 20, and all day Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22.
