A beautiful, real Christmas tree doesn’t have to be a hassle. In fact, you can have yours delivered right to your door, with the proceeds going to a good cause, to boot.

The Men of St. Timothy’s, aka MOST, the men’s group at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, is bringing back its annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale, now running eight years strong. And now is the time to place your order for a fresh, home-delivered Christmas tree.

“Everyone loves to have a fresh tree delivered,” said MOST member Patrick Emanuel.

With the funds raised through the 2015 sale, MOST was able to make annual gifts to Signal Mountain Social Services, Lone Oak Community Center’s toy drive, Family Promise, Bethel Bible Village and St. Timothy’s Community Garden.

Last year was the first that MOST partnered with the Lone Oak Volunteer Fire Department to assist with its annual toy drive. A space was included on the 2015 order form where people could enter an additional monetary donation toward the drive. Those contributions, in combination with a separate donation from MOST, totaled $1,200.

When an order is placed, the buyer also has the option of anonymously donating extra trees to give to people in need. Last year, the ministry was able to help put trees in the homes of more than 25 families on Signal Mountain thanks to community donations.

This year’s trees will arrive at the church Friday, Nov. 18, fresh from the same trusted farm in Boone, N.C., the group gets its trees from every year. They will be delivered to the buyer’s home that Saturday or Sunday.

Pickup at the church for people who order only wreaths begins Sunday, Nov. 20.
