Election produced leader we deserve
This election has exposed who the citizens of the United States really are. We have the president we deserve.

Cartoonist’s race conclusion wrong
2012 presidential election results: African-American Democratic candidate: 65 million votes; white Republican candidate: 60 million votes.
2016 presidential election results: White Democratic candidate: 61 million votes; white Republican candidate: 60 million votes.
Obvious conclusion reached by Chattanooga Times editorial cartoonist: Donald Trump got elected because America is racist.

Plenty to fear about Obama/Clinton
Last Sunday, columnist David Cook wrote about Clinton voter’s feelings. Cook, cartoonist Clay Bennett and celebrities are ranting how Clinton supporters are fearful about election results.
Consider the fears of those who rejected the Obama/Clinton agenda. Many voted for Obama believing he would do great things for our country. Instead he lied about health insurance, the Iran deal, the IRS, etc.
Thugs are allowed to destroy property because of false narratives in cities like Ferguson and Baltimore. Radical Islamic terrorists are killing Americans at home while the FBI has open terrorist investigations in all 50 states. Cities controlled by Democrats allow illegal criminals to hide under the guise of sanctuary city. Move On gangs chant “Dead cops” while Clinton wanted to restrict our ability to protect ourselves by limiting our Second Amendment rights.
Democrats denounce Christian beliefs that life begins at conception, traditional marriage or denying us the dignity of privacy in the bathroom. We are disgusted with political correctness that threatens our First Amendment rights.
So Mr. Cook, don’t lecture Trump supporters about how frightened you are. We have become increasingly frightened as we watched Obama/Clinton shred our Constitution.

Love of country means cooperation
It saddens me to hear Republicans bad mouth our president. In my opinion, President Obama is an upright, honorable man. It has been documented that from the beginning of President Obama’s term of office, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, as well as Republican leaders in the Senate, vowed to undermine all his efforts for governing our country. Their hateful rhetoric and misinformation stirred anger in our citizens, thus causing a deep division in our nation.
Now these Republicans are asking us to pray for unity to achieve success of our country under new leadership. Because our love for Christ and our love for the United States of America, we are willing to cooperate and compromise as we move forward.
