BOSTON (AP) – Aaron Sanchez of the Toronto Blue Jays is pitching a no-hitter through six innings against the Boston Red Sox.

Sanchez has struck out six, walked two and hit a batter Sunday at Fenway Park. He has thrown 80 pitches, 50 for strikes.

The Blue Jays lead 1-0. Toronto can clinch a wild-card spot by beating the AL East champion Red Sox.

Sanchez missed two weeks in September because of a blister before starting twice late in the month.
