13-year-old boy in critical condition after accidental shooting

UPDATE: Chattanooga police say the victim in today's accidental shooting is in "critical, but stable" condition.

According to a release from the department, the 13-year-old boy was shot in the head. Another boy in the house, who was 16, called 911.

"Investigators found no evidence to indicate this was anything other than an accident," Spokeswoman Elisa Myzal wrote.


Chattanooga police say a 13-year-old boy is in the hospital this afternoon after he was accidentally shot.
