The Chattanooga Lookouts are proving to be tough to beat in the 10th inning.

Dan Dohlfing drew a bases-loaded walk off of Mobile relief pitcher Brandon Peterson in the 10th inning Sunday to score Edgar Corcino and clinch Chattanooga’s 5-4 win over the BayBears before an announced crowd of 2,499 at AT&T Field. The Lookouts needed 10 innings to defeat Mobile 4-3 on Friday night.

The teams have split their first four games and will play the fifth and final contest of the series tonight at 7:15.

Lookouts leadoff hitter Nick Gordon went 3-for-4 with a walk Sunday and is hitting .438 through four games.

The Lookouts took a 4-3 lead into the ninth inning, but relief pitcher Raul Fernandez allowed a double to left by Caleb Adams and three walks, including a walk to David Fletcher that brought Adams home.

Gordon’s big day began in the first inning, when he homered to right-center field to make it 1-1. Adams homered to left in the second inning to put the BayBears back up 2-1, but the Lookouts countered with two runs in the third, when Gordon singled to right and scored on Corcino’s single to left.

Chattanooga took its biggest lead at 4-2 in the fourth inning on Gordon’s two-out single to center that scored Jose Gonzalez.
