One person received injuries police described as not life-threatening in an early Saturday morning shooting.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 7200 block of Ridgestone Drive in Ooltewah, Tenn., in response to a 3 a.m. report of a person who had been shot, according to a news release.
The victim was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment.
Police continued to investigate the shooting Saturday, and no further information was made available, including the exact location where the shooting occurred and any information involving possible suspects.
