Vols report

Tennessee has a chance to improve to 3-1 against the Atlantic Coast Conference in a final tune-up before Southeastern Conference play begins. The Vols survived a scare from Furman on Wednesday behind 21 points from shooting guard Jordan Bowden. Tennessee coach Rick Barnes would like to see Bowden continue to look for scoring opportunities. "But his mindset is that he wants to share the ball, even though we do think he needs to be more aggressive," Barnes said."
