BARRY SAYS: Very often menus at our house are works in progress. What is discussed as an option in the morning can morph into something entirely different by early afternoon and the meal can change during the cooking process. It’s part of the fun.
KELLEY: I like to go with the flow, and it can depend on what I have on hand and how things are tasting as I cook. I’m not a recipe follower at all.
BARRY: Anyway, this month’s meal started out as a Valentine’s Day option, then became an homage to our brand-new granddaughter as we considered lamb sliders, and finally became a Valentine’s meal/tribute to Kelley’s oldest, the new mother.
KELLY: Jenny wanted lamb popsicles (so called because the ribs are Frenched, which exposes the long bone) and it does work as a delicious, romantic dinner for the holiday or any time.
BARRY: To be sure. Everything was excellent.
