Save Water, Drink Wine, the annual fundraiser of the Caribbean Student Environmental Alliance, returns Saturday, Feb. 11, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at The Barn Nursery, 1801 E. 24th St. Place.
Caribbean SEA and the affiliated TenneSEA program support clean water projects to help people make simple improvements to river and stream sanitation to protect the water we drink, bathe in and play in.
The event features regional wines, tapas from Mrs. B’s Reggae Café and Conga, among others, cupcakes from Dish T’ Pass, silent and live auctions and discounts on Barn Nursery merchandise.
Partnering organizations, including the Tennessee River Gorge Trust, South Chickamauga Creek Greenway Alliance, Tennessee Aquarium and local water quality departments, will present their clean water work amid the festive atmosphere.
Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 on the day of the event.
Purchase at the Gear Closet, 535 Cherokee Blvd., or online at www.caribbean-sea.org.
